What's this
all about?
We took our "Only Music" concept of travel-busking from the road to the river to showcase human kindness and invite others to prioritize health and community-building by getting outside.

We relied on the power of music and generosity, and only went hungry the first day. People showed up in ways we never expected, and we were met with an abundance of kindness. Now, we're making a documentary about it.
Music, mother nature, and healthy community are powerful healing forces we all need to be whole.
How did we pull this trip off?
Paddle It
We paddled 120 miles over 23 days along the Snake River, from Swan Falls Dam to Farewell Bend Campground. We squeezed the musicians, crew (totaling 12 people at the height of the trip), and gear in three rafts.
Play It
We stopped at over half a dozen towns along the way and performed pop-up shows at restaurants, bars, gas stations, and people's homes.
Produce It
We filmed the whole trip and have since rolled up our rafts to hunker down and edit this into a documentary!
This ain't our first rodeo.
It's our third.
the problem:
unprecedented rates of anxiety, depression, and suicide amongst communities across the U.S.
People we know (ourselves included) are suffering from anxiety, depression, stress, and loneliness - mental health issues that are seemingly endemic to this modern life.​
our solution:
people + music + nature + discomfort zone
As a band and a community, we want to remind you and anyone we meet, to keep fighting the good fight by getting outside, creating something (anything!), and connecting with people you know and people you don't.
We hope we make it down the river. We hope we don't go too hungry. We hope we find quiet places to sleep.
But mostly, we hope Only Music Snake River inspires you to map out an adventure, grab a friend (or two), and find the things you need to feel whole.
